We

"Thank You" to all the buyers

Ohio, Erin Williams-Kerns, Glenn Kerns and Cathy Williams.
Thank you and congratulations. The Kerns purchased Diamonte
of PVA for $195,000. We are thrilled that Diamonte will

A
message from the Kerns:
"Diamonte is an incredible addition to the
journey we started over a year ago. Glenn and I purchased
a 24 acre farm last summer where I built my dream farm,
and he constructed his ideal photography studio. When
I discovered that Diamonte would be at the Prestige
Alpaca Auction, I knew that he would be the perfect
addition for the new farm. Thanks to my parents, Joe
& Kathy Williams, this became a real possibility.
We are honored to have such an incredible animal residing
at A.J.'s Alpaca Ranch, and are anxious to see his first
cria running through our pastures.
Thanks again Dave & Nancy for providing us this
opportunity. We are truly blessed." Erin

Randy Welman with The Mahogany Prince of PVA
On January 12, 2004, Randy Welman of American Style Farms,
purchased The Mahogany Prince for a WORLD RECORD PRICE of
$325,000.00. When the time came, we were reluctant to sell
him and certainly hate to see him go, as his gentle nature
and stunning appearance have made him a joy to have on the
ranch since the day he was born here. For the first time ever,
The Mahogany Prince of PVA will be available for limited outside
breedings at his new home. More
about The Mahogany Prince of PVA.

From left to right: Montoya of PVA, Kobe of PVA,
Keanu of PVA and their sire, Mahogany Prince of PVA
Mahogany Prince's documented success has never
been about numbers, as we donated a few, but sold no outside
breedings. His success has always been about QUALITY! The
percentage of his offspring who have won championships at
MAJOR shows is nothing short of phenomenal!

Fayrose and Irv
Entering the alpaca business in retirement.
|
Congratulations to Fayrose
and Irv on the purchase of Sheyna, a black daughter of the
black suri Color Champion and sire of Champions, Kobe of PVA.
Two years ago, in 2005, Irv Lassoff, my fiancé,
retired medical doctor, and I visited an alpaca show and fell
in love with those little cuties. We saw what we really loved-
the suris at Barbara and Randy Coleman's. So we purchased
our first suri, Samantha, who gives us so much affection,
and we return it to her.
We found Cindy Harris and her home in Camarillo, California.
So we now have a hands-on visit, and we are looking forward
to her coming cria from Kobe, the suri we admire the most.
We just purchased our little dream of a beautiful young,
4 month old, black suri, a daughter of our favorite, Kobe.
We named her Sheyna; that means beautiful. We will take her
to many shows to hopefully take home the champion ribbons
that we also have with Samantha.
After a few short weeks Sheyna Lee knows us and comes to
eat out of our hands. Pretty soon she will come up for daily
hugs as Samantha does.
Alpacas keep our lives very active going to shows, seminars,
reading Suri News. After retiring from a life on TV commercials,
etc., and Irv retiring from medicine, we'll be in the go -
our motto.
We hope to grow old but never be old. After 20 years on TV
and a performing tap dancing group, I need the excitement
of breeding, showing, and having crias. I swim laps for an
hour daily at 6:00 a.m.
Retirement was never good for Irv. He plays tennis daily
and is working on his upcoming "How To" book on
medicine for the layman. We expect it to be a best seller.
Now we have friends after us asking, "What is an alpaca?"
They are lined up to buy one.
So here's to more fun in life! Fayrose
